The Vashon-Maury Tool Library is a community resource designed to support and promote shared use of tools on Vashon and Maury Islands. All of the tools and furnishings have been donated by islanders to benefit the community and staffing is entirely done by volunteers. Authorized members can borrow any tool from our collection to use in their own projects.
It’s easy to join the Library. Just go to our membership website HERE and fill out the online form. That gets you into our database and onto our email list, but before you can check out tools you must also fill out our paper forms shown HERE. You must bring those to the library during our open hours to be confirmed as an authorized member. We also expect that you will make a modest cash donation to help keep the library going. Unlike a book library, the Vashon Tool Library receives no public funding, so we are dependent on islanders’ donations to keep our doors open.
