Volunteer!

If you like any combination of tools and people, The Vashon Tool Library is looking for you. Any skill is handy; a few specific needs are below:

  • Librarians People are needed to help staff the library and assist members coming to borrow or return tools.
  • Catalogers People are needed to maintain our database of tools and keep track of new incoming tools as wells as broken or lost tools.
  • Social Media Expert If you have a passion for Facebook, Twitter and other social media we are looking for you. Help ensure everyone possible knows about the services offered by the Vashon Tool Library.
  • Tool Maintenance Experts Do you know how to maintain and repair tools? Help us keep our tools safe and in great working order.

Give a tool!

If you have a tool or tools that you no longer use, put it to Island use. We accept any tools that are in working condition or easily fixed. Heres a list of the tools that we particularly  need:
